Long long time..

So since my last post of the wedding in San Diego I have been back to CA two more times. Once for another wedding, Erika a childhood friend got married, and then for a family BBQ to see some cousins that were in town from Texas.

Up coming I have a bridal spa weekend in Palm Springs for my friend Cynthia who is getting married in Guatemala in December, a baby shower for my buddy Amanda ( her first baby). A wedding in Las Vegas in September ( I am making the cake). In November I also have a tentative trip to Las Vegas for a combined birthday celebration. I have so many things this year but I will have to pick and choose so I can still move out of dad's place in January. I have been looking and here in AZ the prices are so much cheaper for apartments than in San Diego. It is shocking.

Caleb and Moriah have been growing like weeds. I think Caleb has started his terrible two's early. Kim found him just as he was going to shove his p.j bottoms into the toilet, he also decided to pull the cushion stuffing out of my couch and was behind the entertainment cabinet trying to electrocute himself... Oh boy we will have our hands full if this is the pre stage. Caleb has misplaced a set of keys, the only set for one of the cars so my brother and sister are down to one key until they can get one made. They have looked everywhere, i have a suspicion that Caleb dropped them in the trash. Moriah went from sitting up to standing in about two weeks, she crawls over to the couch and pulls herself up. When she wakes from a nap she is standing in her crib looking over to see who is coming to get her. Watching them develop is astounding.

We have made it through the two year anniversary of mom. The 18 was surprising to me because I was fine until I red an e-mail from a friend that said she was thinking about us, I then fell apart. Not that I didn't know what the day was just it wasn't at the fore front of my mind. yesterday was what would have been mom's 66th birthday. We went to Carver's steak house and sat at our table #301 and had a wonderful toast with her fave White Zin and had a great meal with the kids. 5 glasses of wine were poured and we left one chair open for her. At the end of dinner we each took a drink from her glass of wine to empty it. That is our tradition now.

So I am sure you are thinking wow that was long, well I wrote in on three different days. now i will publish it.
